Core Requirements for New Staff

In addition to the pre-service training requirements that are completed through your agency, the following TLC courses and any County Updates scheduled during your first year of service are to be completed during the first 12 months after initial hire into the Philadelphia Infant/Toddler Early Intervention System. These requirements are based on your entry into the Philadelphia County Infant/Toddler Early Intervention System, and not on your work for a particular agency.

For example, if your initial work with Philadelphia families and their infants and toddlers lasts for 8 months at one agency and you then switch to another agency to provide services for infants and toddlers, you have 4 more months to complete all of the training that's required for "new staff" during the year after their initial hire.
