Core Requirements for New Staff

  • In addition to the pre-service training requirements that are completed through your agency, the following two TLC courses are to be completed during the first 12 months after initial hire into the Philadelphia Infant/Toddler Early Intervention System. These requirements are based on your entry into the Philadelphia County Infant/Toddler Early Intervention System, and not on your work for a particular agency. For example, if your initial work with Philadelphia families and their infants and toddlers lasts for 8 months at one agency and you then switch to another agency to provide services for infants and toddlers, you have 4 more months to complete all of the training that's required for "new staff" during the year after their initial hire.
