Position Title: Office Aide

Availability: Academic Year 2025/2026

Duties and Responsibilities: This position consists of 2 parts: Qualified applicants will be responsible for general administrative duties including staffing the Department’s reception desk on Friday’s during regular business hours (8am – 4:30 or 8:30am – 5pm with ½ hour lunch), answering phones, greeting guests, copying, and scanning, laminating and other administrative duties, as needed. If 2 students are selected, they can split the reception desk and each work 4 hours. The pay rate for this position is $9.50 per hour. Additionally, on Mon. – Thurs., depending on availability, cleaning 13-14 Edison by wiping chairs, tables and electrical beds. Checking the bathrooms for items needing to be refilled, i.e soap, hand towels, toilet paper and reporting to Shayna Martin, the general cleanliness so she can keep up with Environmental Services. Organizing the linen and stocking cabinets in the classrooms, and keeping up with overall area of 13-14. Interested students should email Shayna Martin by Monday, Aug. 21th. Depending on the number of applicants, interviews may be required.
