Duties and Responsibilities: Be part of the Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Team! We are looking for a laboratory technician to centrifuge, aliquot, and freeze blood specimens obtained from central lab as part of a research study to develop predictive AI disease models with an industry partner. The ideal candidate will have 1 year or more working in a basic science research lab, excellent pipetting skills, outstanding attention to detail, efficient time management abilities, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The position requires on site work in the Center City Emergency Department Clinical Research Lab between Monday and Friday between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 PM, but the exact days and times are flexible and may be set by the candidate following training. (On average, there is about 3 hours of work to be done per day.)
