This course will introduce the equipment and techniques needed to incorporate this minimallyinvasive procedure into practice. Lively, interactive case-based discussions from expert faculty and intensive analysis of real-lifepatient interviews and surgical footage highlight this annual program. Participants will examine the advantages of sialendoscopy and identify patients for whom thisminimally invasive procedure would be most appropriate. Specific strategies to incorporatesialendoscopy and hybrid techniques into practice will be identified. |

The Jefferson Thyroid Cancer and Parathyroid Disease Update 2021: Updates in Diagnosis and Treatment offers participants a unique opportunity to virtually witness experts deliberate and debate how they would manage a patient's thyroid cancer and parathyroid diseases. This active learning format features critical deliberations regarding patient cases, clinical findings, differential diagnoses, and management plan options. The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Jefferson University Hospital is the regional leader in minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery. The department serves a large and varied patient community, including children, and features specialized centers and programs dedicated to hearing and balance disorders, taste and smell disorders, reconstructive and facial plastic surgery, and, uniquely, the care of the professional performing or voice-over artist. For our multidisciplinary approach to head and neck cancer, we collaborate closely with Jefferson University Hospital's Kimmel Cancer Center and Center for Integrative Medicine
The Kimmel Cancer Center (KCC) was founded in 1991 and is one of a select group of cancer centers in the nation designated by the National Cancer Institute.
