The Office of Research Administration provides support services, oversight and training to TJU faculty and staff in submitting, managing, and monitoring external funding. Listed below are five tracks designed to strengthen your knowledge of the full life cycle of a grant.

Courses listed under General training include comprehensive grants management training spanning the grants lifecycle from preaward through grant closeout.

    Industry Agreements/Clinical Trials:
Industry Agreements training discusses the contract review process, applicable terminology and industry challenges.

Pre-award grant training opportunities covers the cradle-to-award process for proposals. Topics include looking for the approval process for grant submissions, Just-in-Time Request, and forms and policies.

Post Award:
Post Award training covers all of the activities that occur during the life of funded sponsored projects from account establishment through final reporting requirements.

The Offices of Research Support Services have created training programs which are meant to specifically provide principal investigators and other scientific staff with additional knowledge regarding the various administrative aspects of research administration. Courses available within this module will provide principal investigators and other scientific staff with a fundamental knowledge of pre and post activities that will further aid in the overall administration of an individual's sponsored research portfolio.
