Improving the quality of services to families and their infants and toddlers.

The Teaching and Learning Collaborative (TLC)
Short Workshops for Parents & Professionals

Each of these workshops is presented across two or more sessions to help providers learn about exemplary practices in early intervention. Parents are welcome to attend these programs. This year's topics include:
  • Embedding strategies to support communication into family activities and routines
  • How to include children with disabilities in early learning programs
  • Using Hanen principles to facilitate early communication
Courses are posted once they are open for registration, so be sure to check for new courses that are added during the year.

Steps for signing up for a course on the PA Keys website:

  1. Go to: www.pakeys.org
  2. Click on "login" in the upper right hand corner of the page
  3. Create a user login name and password
    -Record this login name and password so you can easily sign up for future PA Keys classes
  4. Once you are registered click on "Calendar" on the left hand tool bar
  5. Under the "Professional Development Calendar" heading on this page click on "Search Calendar"
  6. Select the knowledge area, date range, zip code or county to search for your class.
    Note: Date range is often the easiest
  7. Click "Submit"
  8. From here you will see a list of classes based on your search criteria and you can find your class.
  9. Click on the class title and follow the instructions to sign up.
