INFORMATION SEARCHING SKILLS SERIES:
Instructor: Dan Kipnis, MSI Date: 3/7/2012 Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm Location: Scott LRC Room 306 (Register for this workshop) This 3-hour workshop will cover PubMed, Scopus, Google and Google Scholar and how to use RefWorks 2.0 to manage your citations for publication. This workshop is designed for all Jefferson researchers. We’ll move from introductory concepts to more advanced search techniques. If you need to organize citations and aim to expedite your research output this workshop will help.
Using Social Media at Jefferson This 3-hour workshop will help the Jefferson community understand the world of social media.
EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SKILLS SERIES:
Copyright & Fair Use Guidelines This workshop will provide basic information about copyright and guidelines for classroom use of published materials. Fair use doctrine and its application in a university setting will also be addressed.Getting Started with PowerPoint Learn the basics: how to open a new presentation, choose an output type, apply a design template, add and format text, make speaker notes, print handouts and save/package your presentation. |
