Jefferson staff use Interdepartmental Charge Codes (IDC) instead of cash to have their department pay for library services--such as Interlibrary Loans, mediated searches, and photocopy cards. They are composed of 18 digits, the first of which designate your Jefferson department, and the last of which specify where in your department's budget the charge will appear. Ask your departmental administrator for what code to use.
