Journal Citation Reports 2010 Data Released

The 2010 data for the popular citation impact tracker, Journal Citation Reports, has been released.  It is now available as part of AISR’s online subscription to the service – you’ll find it on JEFFLINE’s Quick Links.

It always takes several months after the end of the calendar year for publisher Thomson Reuters to collect and assemble the publishing data, so the annual release usually takes place in the late spring to early summer.

Journal Citation Reports tracks over 10,000 selected journals in over 200 disciplines, rating the influence and impact of each journal in the context of its discipline.  It also tracks the citations for individual articles, allowing researchers to measure the influence of their own and others’ writing.  Coverage is global, and constantly expanding.
