Security Warnings on JEFFLINE
If you encounter a security warning when you try to access JEFFLINE’s full text, don’t worry. Your computer is not being invaded. Please just tell your computer to accept our site and you’ll be able to proceed to the content that you want. You should only have to accept the site once – after that the warning shouldn’t crop up anymore.
Why is this happening?
The provider of JEFFLINE’s security certificate, used for securing your access to full text resources and databases, recently renewed its authority, but a few browsers have been slow to keep up with the change. Firefox is the known slowpoke, but there may be others.
I still don’t see what to do
If you are unsure what to do when you see a security warning, please contact the Reference Desk at 215-503-8150 or askalibrarian@jefferson.edu. But rest assured that this will go away soon, and it’s harmless.
