Critical Condition: The State of Health Care in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) is has released its annual report – Critical Condition: The State of Health Care in Pennsylvania.

The report provides a global view of the issues and challenges confronting health care stakeholders. The purpose of Critical Condition is to identify ten-year trends in critical issue areas, which can help to further inform policymakers as they discuss options for health care reform in our Commonwealth. Topics include health care spending, health insurance coverage and costs, provider and insurer finances, supply and utilization trends, and health status.
