Help your patients to learn about healthy eating from the American Dietetic Association and steps to take now to improve their total diet:
- Read about the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010, from the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.
- Get information on the top five reasons to prepare meals at home, according to the NIH Division of Nutrition Research Coordination.
- Take advantage of the nutrition resources at Scott Memorial Library, including almost 2 dozen journals on nutrition and metabolism, printed texts and e-books such as Modern Nutrition in Health and Disease
