Following the lead of schools like Harvard, MIT and the University of California, the University of Kansas now expects faculty to deposit copies of their articles in their local institutional repository, KU ScholarWorks.
The actual language of the new policy is straightforward, and includes an opt-out option:

Open access publisher BioMed Central has announced that all medical journals in its BMC series have started considering case reports again. The 60+ journals will consider reports of unusual or exceptional cases that advance clinical knowledge.
