AISR Staff DirectoryPatricia Wynne, BSN, MSPat Wynne is the Associate University Librarian for Information and Clinical Support Services. Pat provides information research support to the Jefferson Hospital clinical staff and various university departments. She manages the Information Services group in Scott Memorial Library. Interests & ExpertisePat has extensive search experience with biomedical and business databases and is an expert trainer for many of these databases. She also has significant project management experience for projects related to evaluation of databases, user requirements, and roll-out of new products. In her role as Associate University Librarian for Information and Clinical Support Services she has initiated and supports the Virtual Nursing Journal Club for the TJUH nursing staff and assists with nursing research projects for hospital staff, university nursing students, and faculty. She is a member of the Nursing Cultural Diversity group at the hospital where she is working with participants to create an annotated bibliography of Scott Library resources on this topic. Background & TrainingPrior to obtaining a MS degree in Information Science from Drexel University, Pat worked as a registered nurse for many years. She obtained a BS in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College. She has experience in the areas of operating room, pediatrics, and psychiatric nursing. Pat has 14 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in the role of an information specialist. Professional ActivitiesPat is a member of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the Medical Library Association (MLA). Personal InterestsPat enjoys hiking, yoga, and reading in her spare time. She likes to travel and plans to visit her son in the Dominican Republic while he is serving in the Peace Corps. |
