AISR Staff DirectoryPaul Hunter, DMD, MLISDr. Paul Hunter is the Clinical Informatics Librarian at the Scott Memorial Library. He provides information research support to the Jefferson Hospital clinical staff and various University departments.Interests & ExpertisePaul has a keen interest in teaching the various aspects of evidence-based healthcare. As a clinical educator at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, he has had the opportunity to instruct students on database searching (PubMed, Cochrane Library and Scopus), and the utilization of specific tools for assessing the quality of research information. Background & TrainingPaul obtained his Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007, a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from the Pennsylvania State University. After working as a general dentist for many years, he is now pursuing his interest in clinical informatics, first on the library staff at Drexel University (Hahnemann Library), and now at Jefferson.
