Printing in the Learning Resources Centers

All Learning Resources labs offer both dot matrix and laser printing from the computers. Printing fees are payable by copy card upon receipt of prints.

Copy cards:

cost $1 to purchase;
may hold as much money as you wish to deposit;
are permanent; and
may be recharged as needed.

Purchase a copy card at the Library Circulation Window (2nd floor Scott) or by machine at the Edison LRC.

Please note: copy cards are non-refundable.

Dot Matrix Printing

Dot matrix printing is free and available from most computers. LRC users are encouraged to make use of it for draft printing and previews.

Laser Printing

Black and white laser printing costs 10 cents per standard 8.5" x 11" page, and is available from all LRC computers. The standard LRC paper is 20 lb. white. Users may provide their own paper, but there is no cost reduction for doing so.

Standard printing is one-sided.

Color Printing

Color printing is available at both Edison and Scott LRCs for 50 cents per page. You must provide the file(s) to be printed on removable media (diskette, CD, thumbdrive, etc.) for staff to print on your behalf - the color printer is not networked for student access.

Labels

Label printing is available in the Scott LRC at a rate of 50 cents per label page. The LRC provides basic white label stock, with 14 labels per page. Users may provide their own labels, but there is no cost reduction for doing so.
