JMC Student Council Constitution

Article I - Designation
This organization shall be known as the Student Council of the
Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Article II - Purposes
- Section 1:
- This student council is a class-based representative body acting
on the behalf of the student body of Jefferson Medical College.
The council's responsibilities will include supervising, organizing,
and appropriate funding of the medical college student body activities
which pertain to the University.
- Section 2:
- The council will act as the responsibile liaison body between
the students, the faculty, and the administration and will act
to promote stronger student/faculty relations.
- Section 3:
- The council shall act as an instrument of student opinion concerning
matters pertaining to students and the University community.
- Section 4:
- The council will provide student body representatives to voice
student concerns on all student/faculty or ad hoc committees.
