Article VII - Committees

Section 1:

There shall be two types of committees, designated under the headings "standing" and "special:"

1. Standing committees shall include the elections committee, the student council curriculum committee, and additional committees that council may create.
2. Special committees shall be appointed by the president at his/her discretion, or the council may, by a majority vote, appoint committees.
3. Representatives may serve on more than one committee, but may chair only one standing committee.

Section 2:

All committee chairpersons shall make monthly reports to the council on the progress and activities of their respective committees.

Section 3:

Special committees shall be dissolved upon completion of their duties.
