Study Spaces at Jefferson

First Floor Study Area
Scott Building |
Thomas Jefferson provides a variety of research and study spaces for
students and faculty members. Study spaces are available on all four floors
of Scott Memorial Library, Jefferson Alumni Hall, and elsewhere on campus.
Individual Study
Quiet study is the rule on the fourth floor of the library. Individual
carrels and desks on the second through fourth floors are available on
a first-come, first-served basis. Individual study rooms (Scott 313, 315,
316 & 317) may be checked out from the LRC on the 3rd floor. Comfortable
seating on the first floor of the library invites casual conversations.
Group Study
AISR's Learning Resources Department also oversees group study areas
in the Jefferson Alumni Hall and provides guides to study space elsewhere
on campus. Pick up the brochures at any LRC or the Reference Desk, or
view them online:
You may reserve one of the 3 model & media
viewing rooms in the Scott LRC for group study (reserve
online, call 215-503-8407 or LRC@lists.jefferson.edu).
Several tables are available in Scott 306 for collaborative study.
