Library Toolbars

Put the Library Right on your Desktop!

Want quick and easy access to databases, journals and other Library resources? Install one of of the JEFFLINE custom toolbars today!  

The toolbar can be used at home, on the road or in the office - links to resources are built so that if you are off campus, you may use your Campus Key for access.  It’s designed for use with either Internet Explorer (standard on campus computers) or the popular Firefox browser.   

Once you install your toolbar, you may customize it further to highlight the elements most important to you. In 3 easy steps, just:

1. pull down the drop-down menu next to the JEFFLINE logo
2. choose Toolbar Options
3. follow the instructions to add, delete or move resources

The Department of Surgery collaborated with us on our first effort.  Their toolbar allows immediate searching of selected databases, instant access to the full text of high-impact journals and core books, campus services and websites of the Department’s own choosing.  It’s all the most relevant material, right there on the desktop.   Goodies like a cookie cleaner, a history cleaner, and a cache cleaner are thrown in for good measure.
