"Its indiscrete eye is looking around, watching the embrace of ancient inhabitants searching for a lighthouse or for a sentinel star. Ongoing search, in the darkness of profound craters, holes of the soul, infinite spirals in the ambiguous circuit of coincidences. The ones that take us everyday on the roads that we have already lived, among passers-by magnetized by the obligatory route of everyday life. I see you, my eye enters yours, penetrates the transparent indifference of the people!

The Partenope collects her most precious goods, holds them close to herself . . . Her art of loving, her superstitious fantasy, her desperate vortex of hope, her volcano in continuous evolution, her overseer."

--Caterina Arciprete
