Welcome
to the Archives and Special Collections of Thomas Jefferson
University
The goals of the Archives
are
- to acquire and preserve
the permanent, non-current records of the University, as well as collections
of historical material donated by faculty, staff, and alumni; and
- to make these materials
available to qualified researchers for research.
The Department's primary mission
is to serve Thomas Jefferson University students, faculty, staff and affiliates.
However, outside researchers are welcome to use the collections and are
encouraged to visit the Archives. Our staff are available to assist you
between the hours of 1:30 - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (closed weekends
and holidays). Before your visit, please become familiar with the use policies
outlined in this section.
Non-university patrons who are unable to visit the Archives & Special
Collections in person may request staff to perform research. For more details,
see the Reference
Service Policy.
We look forward to working with you.
