An Intubation
Case
Intended
for use with adults, this intubation case was originally owned by
Jacob Solis-Cohen, MD (1838-1927). Solis-Cohen was a pioneer in
laryngeal surgery and Lecturer on Laryngology and Diseases of the
Chest at Jefferson Medical College from 1867-1927. The intubation
case was later used by his son, Meyer Solis-Cohen, MD.
The white
label reads:
"Please
clean these tubes with boiling water and disinfectant (preferably
4% formaldehyde), then wipe out inside of tubes with piece of
clean muslin placed over wire to prevent blood remaining in tubes
or instruments rusting." [Signed] J. Solis Cohen
