Electronic ResourcesDatabasesThe Library provides access to over 150 databases for literature and data searching. MEDLINE is available in multiple interfaces, including PubMed and Ovid. Many popular databases (such as Evidence-Based Medicine Reviews, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts, and PsycINFO) use a common search engine and interface called OvidSP. The Library also subscribes individually to many databases, such as CINAHL, STAT!Ref, Scopus, COS Funding Opportunities, MDConsult, Lexicomp, and more. JEFFLINE offers direct links to the most heavily-used resources on our homepage as QuickLinks. To access a browsable and searchable list of ALL the Databases choose the "Databases A-Z" link. MEDLINE and many related databases use MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). This is a controlled vocabulary thesaurus designed to make searching easier. All "Jefferson restricted" databases are accessible from your home computer using your Campus Key with the exception of UpToDate, which is available ON campus ONLY. JournalsThe Library also offers over 11,000 full-text electronic journals. You may view the entire list of journals with the Journals A-Z link on the homepage or search for your journal title in the search box available on every JEFFLINE page. E-books, Images and NewsJEFFLINE's online resources also include over 800 electronic books, a news stand with Jefferson, academic, local, national and international news links, several images and multimedia resources, and the Jefferson Digital Commons for full text by Jefferson authors. See the AISR Learning Resources tour for information about software, image, and other non-text collections.
