Description: The CD-ROM contains three sections; an Atlas, Tutorials, and Quizzes. Users may move freely among and within the three sections by using the respective tables of contents or by a Navigation Map. The Atlas contains 720 photographs incorporating the microscopic images at 3 powers of all the tissues, organs, and systems of the body. The Tutorial contains 19 subject areas comprising 122 sections totalling 527 pages. There are 17 ten question multiple choice single best answer Quizzes. Students are requested to identify the specimen, power, and, in some cases, the stain of the displayed photomicrograph. This program is self-instructional and may be used as an introduction to a microscopic anatomy and/or histology course, as a review, or for remedial work.
