Basic Peripheral Nerve Examination
The Basic Peripheral Nerve Examination includes a video gallery demonstrating key components of the manual muscle test, muscle reflexes and muscle sensation. It also allows for the printing of a set of flash cards the learner can use to study these functions. This program was built for Jefferson Medical College students and residents in Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital by Gerald J. Herbison, M.D. by Sean Dyer and AISR Education Services.

Cardiac Auscultation 3.0  
AISR announces the release of Cardiac Auscultation 3.0! This program allows you to select one of the 16 cardiac abnormalities presented and your mouse acts as a stethoscope, enabling you to hear the heart sounds. Cardiac Auscultation is now available as a free download (Windows only).

With Cardiac Auscultation, students can spend as much time as they need with the "patient," listening to heart sounds again and again until they are able to identify cardiac abnormalities readily.

AISR and Dr. Ronald P. Jensh announce the release of Essential Histimages! This visual aid to studying histology/microscopic anatomy is now available as a free download (Windows or Macintosh). The large number of images make the download a hefty 40MB so we recommend you use an Learning Resources Center (LRC) computer and bring a zip drive or blank CD-ROM with you.
