Return to Professionalism at Jefferson Medical College

Welcome to Professionalism at Jefferson! As future JMC students, you are joining a community that emphasizes the highest standards of professionalism.

The Honor Code is at the core of the Jefferson Medical College community. As you make your decision on where to go to medical school, take a moment to read it and consider its implications.

  • During the application process at Jefferson you will receive a copy of the honor code and hear about what it means to the JMC community -- during your interview and again during second look weekend.
  • At the beginning of your first year, you will be expected to sign a copy of the honor code. Your active participation in upholding the honor code and standards of professional behavior will carry through all four years of your education at Jefferson.
