AISR Learning Resources Department
AISR Learning Resources provides access to AISR computers for individual
and classroom teaching purposes in three public access labs: Scott
LRC, Edison LRC and Jefferson Alumni Hall Open Access Lab. At these facilities,
AISR provides a full range of computer-assisted and productivity
software and professional assistance. The LRC also provides audio-visual
materials and viewing equipment in support of the educational and
patient care missions of the University.
Primary Functions
- Provide computer support for users of the public access labs.
- Provide user support in the form of direct individual assistance
with some general software applications located on the workstations
in the labs, including support using JEFFLINE, email, computer-assisted
instruction programs, and other research and productivity software.
- Collect non-print media in support of the mission of the University.
- Circulate non-print media and perform associated access and
use functions.
