FAQs

Email Address Verification: If you do not receive immediate confirmation of course registration in the email address that you entered, contact Parent Education at 215-955-6713. This indicates that you have not provided an accurate email address.

Payment: A credit card is required at the time of registration for fee-based classes.
NOTE: If the payment is not received at the time of registration, you will be notified.

Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, Parent Education programs may be cancelled if a HOSPITAL WEATHER EMERGENCY has been declared by Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Please check Parent Education Course Page for cancellation notification under the listed course.

Photo ID: Required by Jefferson's Security department to gain entrance to all building to attend classes.

Clothing: Recommend that you dress comfortable for class.

Pillows, Mats, and handouts are provided in Childbirth Classes.

Water Bottle: We suggest that you bring a water bottle to class.

Parking: Discounted parking is provided at LAZ Parking Lot at the corner of 10th and Chestnut lot only. Please bring the parking ticket into the hospital to discount the ticket at the Security desk on 2 Gibbon or the Emergency Room entrance.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
Cancellation for attending program must be made no later than 2 business days before the program date to receive a full refund. Please notify the Parent Education Office @ 215-955-6713.
