other functions of public health. Many of their publications are available,
in whole or in part, on this site.
- Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)
PAHO is the regional office for the World Health Organization. It
provides health data and information about the countries of the Western
Hemisphere. The site is also a news resource for Pan American public
health issues. A Spanish language version is available.
- World Federation of Public Health Associations
(WFPHA)
This 64 member international organization of national public health
associations or societies provides a list of member organizations
and links to their Web sites (if available). This site is maintained
as part of the APHA Web site.
