Regional Network on Occupational Safety & Health Information (ILO)
Since 1992, this program has been implemented by the International
Labour Office of the United Nations to develop and disseminate up-to-date
occupational safety and health information for the region. It provides
a Regional Network and a fulltext newsletter.

Australia Online (Australia)
A program sponsored by the Australian Department of the Environment
and Heritage, this site includes access to environmental data and
reports.
- Canadian Centre for
Occupational Health & Safety (CCOHS)
Publications, material safety databases and other resources are available
in support of safe and health working environments.
- Central European Environmental
Data Request Facility (CEDAR)
CEDAR provides computing and Internet work facilities to support international
data exchange with the Central and Eastern European environmental
community. It has been active since 1991, and now offers topical discussion
lists, European legislative information, and archives of various projects.
- Environmental
Health and Safety (OECD)
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
sponsors a variety of programs to track pesticide use, provide biosafety
information, and assess chemical hazards.
- The Institution
of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) - U.K.
IOSH serves it 20,000 professionals in fields related to occupational
health & safety throughout the United Kingdom. Membership information,
publications, training opportunities and a chat
forum are available.
- International Agency
for Research of Cancer
Established by WHO in 1965, the IARC coordinates and conducts research
on cancer-related issues. The agency provides two online databases
of information on P53 and Epidemiology
Data.

Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre (ILO-CIS)
The International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre
(CIS) is a service of the International Labour Office in Geneva, Switzerland.
Since 1959 it has been collecting information about occupational safety
and health from around the world. The site includes samples of publications
and products for sale by the Centre, and a calendar of upcoming conferences.

for Environmental Protection (ISEP)
ISEP is a forum for the exchange of environmental information between
environmental experts, administration, industry, research and the
public. ISEP as a non-governmental organisation has long-standing
co-operation experience in large-scale projects with several partners
and holds contacts with international environmental and health organisations
and experts.

Institute for Working Life - Sweden
The Swedish Arbetslivsinstitutet does research and development
on topics related to health and safety, working life and labor.
- National Institute
of Health Sciences (NIHS) - Japan
The NIHS provides information about the safety of food, drugs and
chemicals. Its divisions include the Division of Environmental Chemistry
and the Biological Safety Research Center.
- Pan American Health
Organization (PAHO)
The PAHO site provides individual country health profiles, profiles
of individual diseases, regional planning and local agency contacts.
- United
Nations Environmental Program (UNEP)
The UNEP supports several programs, including Infoterra.
A program of the U.N. Environmental Program, Infoterra provides a
mechanism for the international exchange of environmental data.
- World Health Organization
(WHO)
The WHO library, the World Health Report, and a wide variety
of health data are available at this site.
