of Life Web Index (personal site)
Compiled by a conservation biologist for use in teaching, this site
includes biological images of bacteria, protists, fungi, plants and
animals. It also includes links to related sites; however, not all
of the sites listed include images.

This site includes public domain still images of North American wildlife.
