A Comprehensive Image Management System for Dentistry

ABSTRACT

The AADS Consortium for Clinical Information Systems has developed a Request for Proposals (RFP) for image management systems, which will be central to the implementation of a Computer Based Oral Health Record. The RFP solicits comprehensive systems that manage various types of images from multiple sources. These interoperable, scalable systems will be applicable in patient care, education, and research. The RFP is also intended to promote the implementation of a national standard for sharing of image bases. h3sity School of Dentistry
