A Computer-based System of Instruction (CINE) in Academic Medicine for Students in the Health Sciences

ABSTRACT

The presentation consists of a computer demonstration and poster describing how the CINE system can provide a cost effective way of communicating information to students in the health sciences for knowledge acquisition purposes. Software programs are shown to illustrate how graphics and text slides are prepared and coupled to enhance understanding. How templates, color, scanned photos and other images are used to produce the most professional slide presentations is also explained.
