Building Multimedia Resources into Teaching Modules

ABSTRACT

Multimedia possibilities are endless. This workshop focuses on practical tools for building your own interactive presentations. Each participant gets their hands on a Mac. BookSlate, based on HyperCard, will be used to create hot text linked to multimedia events. While the emphasis is on actually building, we will also discuss the pros and cons of various approaches and tools (from BookSlate to Mosaic to Director)
