To comprehensively cover the spectrum of illnesses, diagnoses, therapies, etc, medical courseware needs to be extensible, unless, of course all the essential material is available at the outset of the courseware production effort. This presentation addresses the extensibility issue and proposes a strategy for delivering this attribute with multimedia courseware products in an efficient and protected fashion.
