The issue is no longer hardware or software. One of the most difficult tasks is getting software used. A variety of strategies for getting faculty to look at software and explore the ways in which it would fit into different teaching modalities such as lecture, lab, discussion group, CPC, conference, independent study, or problem based learning need to be creatively presented effectively in one brief session in order to "HOOK" course and clerkship directors on new technologies for medical education. The clinical years present another challenge if computers are to be totally integrated into all four years. Software demos and strategies from the Cornell experience will be presented.
