Computer demonstration of the "Peripheral I.V. Site Management Algorithms" will show a step by step process to determine the correct function and placement of a peripheral I.V. device. The specific areas for intervention and assessment which will be addressed are I.V. device patency, infiltration and phlebitis. At the completion of the program the participant will have confidence in assessing a properly functioning peripheral I.V. site.
