A couple Mac users have called the reference desk this week asking if they can use RefWorks Write-N-Cite with Pages, the iLife wordprocessing software. I asked the helpful folks at RefWorks support who said that WNC does not work with Pages, but suggested this work around:
One Line / Cite View does work with Pages and RefWorks can format the bibliography if it is saved as an RTF file.
This method should work for anyone who uses a word processor other than Microsoft Word that can save in RTF format such as Google Docs.
