One thoughtful responder recommended that the journal title search accept abbreviations. Well, it does, but only the standard MEDLINE abbreviation. For example, if you’re looking for the Annals of Internal Medicine, type Ann Intern Med.
One way to find the standard MEDLINE abbreviation is to use PubMed’s Journals Database. There is a link to it on the PubMed homepage, or you can use the drop-down menu to search it from the top of any PubMed page.
The results page displays the standard abbreviation.
