New books without the wait

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Books on Scott Library’s New Books shelf now may be borrowed immediately.  A previous policy displayed the books on the shelf for a week.

The New Books shelf is located by the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Library.

One recently acquired book is Outliers : the story of success by Malcolm Gladwell. It was recommended by former Dean of Jefferson Medical College Thomas J. Nasca during his Grandon Lecture on May 7, 2009.  Dr. Nasca is now Chief Executive Officer of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
