Have you missed a RefWorks workshop because of your busy schedule? You keep hearing about how great PubMed is for searching, but don’t have the time to attend a workshop or read through handouts?
What if you could sit at your computer and watch a demonstration of searching PubMed or RefWorks any time of day? Using Anystream's ApresoTM software, you can do just that. Apreso was licensed by AISR (Academic & Instructional Support & Resources) this year and is currently installed in the Brent and Foerderer auditoriums. In addition to viewing recorded tutorials online you can schedule to record your own content.
Currently, three library-related tutorials have been recorded and all are available at the following page: http://jeffline.jefferson.edu/Education/edservices/projects.html. Look in the lower right-hand corner under Recorded Tutorials.
In the future, look for recorded tutorials on advanced OVID MEDLINE, Google tips, OT Search and COS (grants). If you have suggestions for topics, let us know.
If you are interested in using this new recording software for your courses, contact Dr. Tony Frisby (tony.frisby@jefferson.edu, 3-4990). The software is very easy to use and in just minutes you can be recording content for viewing via Pulse 24/7.
