PubMed Tip: Changing Your Citation Display

Did you know you can change how your PubMed results are displayed after running a search? Currently, if you use PubMed your citations will return in the Abstract Plus format showing you the top five related articles.

For example:

Follow these steps to change your citation format display:

  1. Login to your My NCBI account

  1. Click My NCBI under PubMed Services

  1. Click User Preferences and select your desired citation format.

  1. Click OK
