Refworks Tip: Sharing Your Citations
With Colleagues Using Refshare

With RefWorks you can share your citations with anyone in the world with an Internet connection, even if the recipient does not subscribe to RefWorks. You have the option of sharing your entire database or just selected folders. If the recipient does have a RefWorks account they can import the citations into their own RefWorks database upon receiving the citations.

To email your citations:

  1. Under Tools click on Share References.
  2. Select the folder that you wish to share and click on Share Folder.
  3. Customize settings and click on Email Folder.
  4. Enter recipient(s) email and you can customize the subject line and email message that they will receive.
  5. Send email.

Your recipient(s) will receive an email with a URL (web address.) The email will look like the following (with a different URL, of course).

http://www.refworks.com/refshare?site=027781096926436000/1245144/OVID
