UMedic, developed at the University of Miami, Center for Research in Medical Education, is a multimedia computer program that provides a comprehensive cardiology curriculum.
UMedic can operate in a self-learning mode or in an instructor mode to present patient-centered, case-based programs. It also has a database that automatically tracks and analyzes learner performance.
The Scott Memorial Library Learning Resources Center has this program on the desktops of 36 computers for your convenience.

The UMedic software is the classroom component that accompanies the Cardiology Patient Simulator, also known as “Harvey.”
Harvey is a life-sized mannequin created to help doctors, nurses and medical students develop and improve their diagnostic skills in the field of cardiac care.
