Family Medicine Summer Assistantship, 2004
Project: Jefferson Multimedia Database
Erin Kavanaugh, JMC Class of 2007

Abstract:
The Jefferson Multimedia Database, developed by Academic & Instructional Support & Resources, became available to the Jefferson community in March, 2004. Though the database is designed to support any media type, by far the largest media category so far is "photograph." Most of the items have been provided by James S. Studdiford, III, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, and described with the assistance of Robert W. Malizia, MD (while a 4th year student at JMC) and Erin Kavanaugh (during her 2004 Family Medicine Summer Assistantship).

At the end of her Family Medicine Summer Assistantship, Ms. Kavanaugh made this presentation, which reports on the use of the JMD to date.
