A Google Tip From
Someone Who Knows...

How would the director of technology for Google search his own popular search engine?

Craig Silverstein's advice is to “always phrase your query in the form of an answer.”* Unlike the television show Jeopardy, where the answers are given in the form of questions, the Google expert recommends structuring your search as the answer to a question. For instance, if want to find information on federal legislation, don’t type “Where can I find information on federal legislation?” but rather, “federal legislation information.”

So, the next time you're frustrated by searching, phrase your query in the form of an answer and examine your results.
