Welcome the University's New
Deputy Librarian – Debbie Sibley

AISR and the Scott Memorial Library are pleased to announce that Deborah Sibley has been appointed Deputy University Librarian. Her responsibilities will include the daily operations of the Scott Library. This includes management of the public services, collection development, systems and archival operations of the Library. In addition, she will manage the relationships of the Library with its affiliates. The Scott Library has contractual agreements with the Alfred Einstein Heath Education Network, duPont Hospital for Children, and the Methodist Division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Debbie comes to Jefferson with an extensive background in health sciences libraries. Most recently she served as the Associate Director for the National Network of Libraries New England Regional Office, based at the University of Massachusetts. Prior to that she was Deputy Director of the U. Mass. Medical School Library. She has held positions at a number of other prominent medical institutions, including Baystate Medical Center and Louisiana State University Medical Center. She completed her Masters degree in library science at LSU, Baton Rouge.
