New Icons in PubMed

If you're a PubMed user you may have noticed the new icons that appear next to citations in the Summary display.

This enhancement is designed to indicate the availability of abstracts and free full text from PubMed Central, NLM's digital archive of journal literature:

These icons do not, however, reflect the availability of full text through links to Scott Library's electronic subscriptions. Those links only appear in PubMed's Abstract or Citation displays (see arrow):

Be sure to link to PubMed via JEFFLINE, so you'll get access to our collection of electronic journals in addition to the PubMed Central titles.
