The latest addition to JEFFLINE is Hurst's The Heart Online. The content of the 10th edition of this classic comprehensive textbook on the heart, edited by respected experts in the field, is enriched with frequent updates on cardiovascular medicine and additional features, including:
- clinical trial summaries
- concise reviews and editorials
- drug information
- practice guidelines
- links to other relevant web resources
While each screen contains a simple search box, more sophisticated search options are available under the Search button on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Searches can be limited to specific chapters of the textbook, updates, clinical trials, tables and images, or other sections of the additional content.
The electronic textbook can also be navigated more traditionally via brief or detailed tables of contents (below).
You can get to Hurst's the Heart Online from the JEFFLINE Database Access page or from the Electronic Books section of the Cyber Café. Off-campus users need a JEFFLINE username and password to get access.
